Science Has Discovered God!

Science has discovered God?  Is this true?  Can it be true?  Is Atheism debunked by the science they embraced for so long?   Before you just dismiss the notion, I urge you to watch the following and then comment:

Then there's this one...  it's quite a bit longer, and I suspect similar in nature to "The Principle" which was produced by Dr. Robert Sungenis (and is seeing limited release in theaters around the country).  I have not seen "The Principle" yet, so this is pure speculation on my part at this time, but check this one out:

And here's another one, not as long as the one above -

Part 2 of the previous:

The Principle Movie Opens October 24

Should we be talking about this?  To me it sounds very intriguing.  Robert Sungenis appears to be promoting not so much literal geocentric paradigm, where everything revolves around the Earth, but rather that the Earth holds a special place in the Universe.  While the Universe does not revolve around the Earth, he states that the Universe is pointing TO the Earth - and a recent satellite mission has presented evidence to suggest precisely that.  For this reason I really want to see the movie.  Tomorrow we may see more reviews as it is released to the public for the first time in Chicago.  If it does well there it will go to other markets.

Thoughts?

Here is a CBN report which came out just before the release...

The Principle - Next Week!

#ThePrinciple - The movie is now slated for release on Friday, October 24, 2014 in Chicago.  I wish I could be there so that I could give my own report on the movie/documentary.  Ever since my first posting on this, December of last year, I've tried to remain objective about this production.  Yes, I did label it as being about geocentricism, and I was quickly and half-way corrected on this.  The documentary is NOT about geocentricism, according to producer/writer Rick DeLano, however he does say that geocentricism plays a part in the documentary.  What is that part?  How big is it?  We have to wait and see.

Anyway, if any of you reading CathApol happen to be in Chicago this coming Friday, and you can give the documentary a viewing - I welcome your report here - pro or con, so long as it is objective and fair.

Rick gives an interview to Christian Cinema, hear it here:

The Principle - October 10 - Chicago

Well, back in June it was announced that The Principle would be released on September 19th - two days ago (as of this posting).  I had not heard of any big release, so I checked their website/blog.  It is being released on October 10th in Chicago.  If it does well in that market, it will go to others - and if not, then the DVD FOD release will follow, perhaps by Q1 of 2015.  Chicago is not a tiny market, but I'm sure Sungenis and DeLano were hoping for something much bigger.  Allegedly they are being attacked and even blocked by some in the science community - the claim is "they" don't want this released at all.

It does make one wonder, if indeed there is an effort to "block" the release... why?  One would THINK that "science" would invite the release and then let it stand or fall on its own merits.  So... we wait and see, just a bit longer now.

I would love to be in Chicago and write my own review of the release, but I do not see how that will be possible.  Maybe they can send me a pre-release copy?  I would be happy to provide a Catholic commentary on the movie.

The Principle... will open theatrically in Chicago October 10. We will go as far as the audience takes us, theatrically speaking, and we have a few surprises up our sleeve in terms of the media coverage lavished upon us earlier this year ;-)
In any event, the film will be available via DVD and VOD after out theatrical run, probably Q1 or Q2 2015.

I am looking forward to this... mostly out of curiosity, but I would like to see and examine the theological and scientific claims myself.

An Anglican archbishop has endorsed the movie (see blog article) as well as an Episcopalian archbishop (see article here).  These are Catholics producing this movie, I'd like to see some Catholic endorsements!

The Principle Movie Announcement

The Principle movie announcement was made on Michael Voris' "Mic'd Up" program.  Below is a link to the entire webcast - but I'll pull a spoiler for you here and now.  If you want to watch the clip, fair warning, stop reading now!

The interview with Robert Sungenis and Rick DeLano on Michael Voris' "Mic'd Up" webcast includes a discussion of how so many "critics" of "The Principle" are publishing things all over the place - and yet, none of them have seen the movie yet.  It makes for an interesting point - and asks why so much interest and focus is on this movie.  Why so much attention if it's just a bunch of poppycock?  I, for one, have not yet seen the film and I am reserving judgment until I do.

"The most reviewed movie which has never been seen!"

The "release" of the film has been taken up by Rocky Mountain Pictures and it will be in a single theater "in a major market" which has not been disclosed as yet.  The release date though, has been announced and that is to be September 19th.

The Principle - Update

On Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 8pm Eastern, on Michael Voris' "Mic'd Up" show streaming worldwide on ChurchMilitant TV,  the Executive Producer and Producer of "The Principle" will officially announce the release date and additional particulars concerning the upcoming theatrical distribution.

Addendum, May 21, 2014:
(Changed a few words from "our" to "the" as originally this announcement appeared to be saying The Principle was "our" production).

The Principle

Well, Robert Sungenis is Executive Producer of a new documentary...  watch the video, and then I will continue with my thoughts below it...
First of all, I'm rather impressed with the panel of commentators he's assembled for this documentary.  The narrator is Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway from "Voyager").
One of the commentators is noted scientist, often seen on The Science Channel, Michio Kaku:
I'm sure some of you will recognize others in the trailer as well.

So, what's this documentary all about?  Geocentricism.  Bob has long been a proponent of geocentrism, which "physically" is a non-science.  The universe does not physically revolve around the Earth, however it seems in this new documentary (slated for release in Spring of 2014) the approach does not seem to be quite so much on the literally physical center of the universe - as in everything revolving around our little Earth; rather it appears they are saying that all things in the universe appear to point toward Earth.  The Earth is in a rather unique spot in all the universe, the only spot which can sustain life.

My first thought?  I'm impressed.  Now, I would really like to see the rest of the documentary.  What are these scientists saying, in context?  What is Bob saying, in context?

Feel free to leave your comments here, I'm sure Bob is watching too.  Bob also has a Facebook page for this documentary:  https://www.facebook.com/theprinciplemovie and he has a website for it too:
