Considering how just how much animosity I've encountered from an old friend, an Orthodox layman, and several Protestants lately, not to mention the Liberal media, I found this meme so very appropriate for today.

ReplyDeleteI would say, "the world" doesn't hate Westboro Baptist Church. Many in the United States do, but sadly many support the WBC.
ReplyDeleteScott, most people don't know about the Westboro Baptist Church. Most of the people who do know about them, hate them.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't make sense if he was referring to the Catholic Church with its billion plus members and other supporters all over the world.
There's an endless list of religious organizations that are more hated than the Catholic Church. Not to say that they aren't hated, but its expected that they'd be hated for the things they've done.
