In this document, you will find the words: «da qualche fessura sia entrato il fumo di Satana nel tempio di Dio». I'm no "expert" in Italian, but "il fumo di Satana nel tempio di Dio" IS translated to "the smoke of Satan in the Temple of God." I hope this helps.
Here's a little more:

Using the "babelfish" interpretor through Altavista.com this is translated to: from some fissure the smoke of Satana in the tempio has entered of God We can see this as "from some fissure, the smoke of Satan has entered the Temple of God."

Wow, I've never seen those pictures nor heard that argument before. On the surface, it looks pretty sinister! So, IF there was an "imposter" - where was the REAL pope all this time?

Pope Paul VI comes from an old Milan family of jews. Converted to Catholic Faith, but not having the experience of long Catholic tradition "in their veins". He could easily be mislead by the "great apostels" of modernism, and what to think about Msgr. Ratzinger who in the sixties already came in public in suit and tie... his magazine "Communio" exported the new Mass order inclusive abberations like communion in the hand to bishops all over the world. As long as Pope Benedict keeps the N.O.M. tab open, we will have to clean up again and again and again. Until there is nobody in our churches anymore to clean... I hope (but God's will before all) a new Council will restaurate Church and liturgy as has always been, giving up the "Luther Mass".
ReplyDeleteInterestingly - I grew up a Lutheran. "Luther's Mass" was actually a LOT more like what we now refer to as the Extraordinary Rite of the Mass (the Traditional Latin Mass). I was raised in the Missouri Synod, before they reformed the "Luther Mass" to more closely resemble the N.O.M., and about that time my family switched over to the Wisconsin Synod, which still used "The Old Blue Hymnal" for liturgy, the one I grew up with. So, after the Catholic Church added the alternative N.O.M., Lutheranism followed and changed their liturgy - and lectionary - to match the what the Catholics were doing. Recent changes in the N.O.M. have brought back some things which were changed initially, which I see as a good thing. I too, however, would prefer a complete restoral of the Traditional Latin Mass so that once again, no matter where one travels throughout the world, the Mass is universally or catholicly celebrated. All Catholics kept with them a missal which had Latin on one side with their native language on the other - so one could follow the Latin and keep up in their own language - no matter where they were on Earth!
